Mashiko Museum of Ceramic Art/Ceramic Art Messe Mashiko (hereinafter called “the Museum”) shall preserve the privacy of personal information provided by the visitors under the Tochigi Prefectural Ordinance for the Protection of Personal Information.
*”Personal information” includes a person’s address, name, phone number, email address, and other information that could be used to determine the individual.

The Museum shall state the purpose for collecting personal information, and to collect information in a manner that is lawful and fair, to the extent necessary to accomplish objective. The Museum shall only collect information that the visitor wishes to provide.
The Museum shall use the information provided solely for the purpose specified in advance, with the exception of the following cases:
The Museum shall not distribute personal information provided for the purpose of information gathering without the consent of the individual.
The Museum shall manage the collection of personal information under strict control and take preventative measures against leaking, misappropriation, and manipulation.
In a case where a visitor demands for disclosure, correction, or cancellation of her or his own personal information, the Museum shall respond swiftly, and in accordance to Tochigi Prefectural Ordinance for the Protection of Personal Information.
